Ok... got your attention! So, just WHO is going to the Rachel Brice workshops in January??? I will probably be staying at the Nunnery and have heard some gals from NZ are too....anyone else???

We're coming over from Adelaide so I'm not sure of what options there is in a foreign town ;-) Where are you coming in from? I'm doing the Friday night class, Sat am (the backbending class was booked out in the arvo - I was disappointed but I think my muscles secretly rejoiced!!) & then both on the Sunday. Even if there was some club where we could comandeer a corner of their dance floor one night if we've got the energy left...!!!
Perhaps are there any local gals with any ideas??!!
What kind of style do you dance, fusion or ATS, or both?! It would be great to compare moves!! -

Thu, December 13, 2007 - 6:54 PMI'm new to tribal - I've been studying Gypsy Caravan, bit of ATS and Romani with Dee Thompson in Brisbane since July this year.... I'm based in the Byron Bay area..... I'm also doing Friday workshop, both on Sat and then flying home on Sunday.... I'm a 'passionate beginner' and hoping my passion makes up for my lack of experience (and flexibility! : ) It's all good and I can't wait!!!!
did you know Rachel is performing on 12th & 24th Jan in Melbourne???
RE a venue for us to dance..... no idea either - I'll flick an email over to Underbelly for suggestions...

Sat, December 15, 2007 - 4:30 AMAhhh she would be performing either side of when I'm in town for workshops!!!! I wonder if the budget would stretch to two Melb trips....!!! I've been doing ATS for 3 years, hoping I'll be able to keep up too!! I'd love to see some of your Romani moves.
