It's coin bra sewing time for me again, can anyone recommend a good place in Oz for buying a bra to use as the base? I need something DD cup!! Have seen some plain black bra bases with ties for sale on the internet but they are overseas sites & I need to have mine done in a few weeks time so I don't know if they'd ship over fast enough! Last bra I used was a convertable & it didn't work too well, & looked it huge! - so if you've found a great one in a shop recently or bought something good online with quick delivery I'd be grateful for your advice :-)

Sun, February 3, 2008 - 1:57 AMBig W and K Mart! I know it sounds absolutely stupid, but the best bra I've found (and I have big boobs! E cups) was a no name brand from Big W. It has convertable straps, but it's not a no-strap style. And it's really really solid.
And it takes coins fabulously with no stretching! -

Great shape and solid enough cups that it doesn't sag or fall apart when you start decorating. They are also covered with a second fabric layer so the boning doesn't show and you don't have to re-cover.

I have to confess I bought several - a couple for everyday wear and a couple in a cup size bigger for decorating. If you are interested check the measurements - in any other range I'm an E cup, in these I'm a D for everyday wear.

Glad to hear the Ezibuy ones are ok - I have thought a few times, but wanted to see them in person (or know someone who has one).... I think Ezibuy are owned by the Coles group aren't they, or Myers?
Anway just my two cents

& now the sewing begins!!!
