Hi everyone
just putting a call out to see if anyone's going to the blue mountains this year for GS and TT with Carolena? One of my girls is going and is keen to hook up with someone to share accom if you're interested. I have no idea if she snores :)
Also - for those of you who like to plan ahead, I've got info on my site now about Paulette Rees-Denis's workshop and Collective Soul & Teacher Training dates for 2010 - a lot of the content is yet to be confirmed with the workshops but for those who want an amazing and intense study experience I can definitely recommend the Collective Soul studies! please let anyone know who is interested, Paulette will also be offering workshops in Albany, WA, Byron Bay & Tassie so there's plenty of opportunity for you to study and get your Gypsy Caravan fix!

ps Feast of the senses almost sold out!! Early bird tickets run out this month or in 20 tickets whichever sell out first - from this point we'll only have gala tickets left :) phew.

a belated reply to your question about the TT. Yes, I am doing the TT in the first session and one of my students is also doing the General Skills.
Hope everything is going well for Feast of the Senses. It has been a while since we have been in communication. Is it this Facebook thing?

Feast is going brilliantly, im sitting in front of a box of 100 bags, 50 tshirts, oops reminds me to get the imported spanish fans from the post office. been very busy with our crazy winter line up of performances, change of class times, blah blah

It is a pity so many are leaving tribe net and de-camping to Facebook. It is my limited understanding that face book is about "me" and what "I" am doing, rather than what a group of interested people are doing ie. tribal dancing in australia. Am I right?
In that case, I am loath to spend time going to every single person's page to trawl through "stuff" to see what is happening with tribal belly-dance.
I admit that it is lovely to see what your friends and family are up to on facebook, but I do that the old fashioned way - telephone calls or emails. I think it is a shame that tribe net has, at times, let us all down, but I still think it is a very useful tool and worth putting up with the intermittent inconveniences. If it is not working, then I go back to it next time I am using the computer.
Obviously people are still visiting and using tribe. It does still work; it is well set out and user friendly. Not too much jargon either.

Sat, August 8, 2009 - 3:32 AM(Kylie A here) Dee, I am an ATS student of Susan Gleeson, I am also going to Blue Mountains for GS this year (big effort to contain my excitement!!!)
There are 3 ladies from our tribe going (including our Beautiful teacher, Susan), another person would be fantastic to even numbers for 2 twin single rooms perhaps??!! We will be checking out our options very soon so please let your friend know that I would love to hear from her to see if we could help each other with accommodation, etc.
