Hi Everyone, have just started to get through some of my mail, emails etc. Thanks for thinking of me. Really, Dave and I were safe, we were in Delhi and trying to find a flight out of there via another asian country so we could complete our trip (Thailand was the soft option for recovery after budget backpacking in India).

Our trip around Rajasthan was VERY interesting and intense. Being stuck in Delhi - long story short, we ended up staying in a home stay in a middle class enclave in Greater Kailash II. Our hostest was VERY controlling and Dave and I felt imprisoned in her dark little house. We had no knowledge of Delhi or plans (we were only supposed to be passing through). All the news there was about Mumbai and Bangkok airport, very limited internet access, my India sim card didn't work, elections in Delhi and closure of some tourist places made things seem surreal - our host continually attempted to hijack our time in Delhi, in the end, we had to tippy toe around the place and make escape plans! One day this will seem funny!
